Relax and Restore Yin and Yoga Nidra by Candlelight
An evening where you can truly slow down, unwind and relax. You will first be guided through a restorative Yin practice, finding stillness in the body and mind. We will finish the class with a wonderful Yoga Nidra, also known as "yogic sleep", which is a powerful meditation and relaxation practice.

About the event
In a world where we all have busy schedules, commitments and high levels of stress; it's sometimes difficult to take time out for yourself. This event will give you the chance to do just that. It's an evening where you can truly slow down, unwind and relax.
You will first be guided through a restorative yin yoga session, which will focus on letting go, drawing your attention inwards and finding a sense of stillness. Yin yoga is all about slowing down; poses are traditionally held for 5-20 minutes working deep into the tissues of the body. Yin helps the body to enter a deeper state of relaxation and find a balance where the body can begin to heal.
The class will finish with a wonderful Yoga Nidra or "yogic sleep" is a deep state of conscious relaxation. This is a powerful guided meditation where you will experience the state of being in between sleep and consciousness. Yoga Nidra induces a total physical, mental and emotional relaxation.
Both sessions will be practiced in complete candlelight to aid relaxation and nourishment of mind and body.
This event is suitable for all practitioners and no previous yoga experience is needed.
Please bring your own yoga mat and I also advise bringing a pillow and blanket for complete relaxation.
